Cancelled Subscriptions that can't be reached
Like with all Subscriptions - many customers eventually cancel their subscription because they 'needed a break', 'had too much stock' or were 'travelling'. And the most valuable for any subscription brand to do is to get those customers to eventually restart again.
Unfortunately, the channels that brands (like Create) have to communicate with their customers today are limited. With email getting <40% open rates, Create were faced with the prospect of accepting that they wouldn't be able to reach >60% of the customers who have cancelled subscription.
Paper Run x Recharge
Using Paper Run's integration with Recharge, Create were integrated Direct Mail into their subscription cancellation flows - adding a new touchpoint for customers who cancel a Subscription and that Create are not then able to then reach via email. The opportunity was clear, remind previous subscribers why they loved Create - in an authentic and personal way that was guaranteed to be seen.
As the Create team obsess over incrementality - they used Paper Run's incrementality testing tools to devised a test to measure the precise impact of this new Direct Mail flow.
