Points missed in the Promotions folder
Like many brands running a loyalty program, many customers forget about their hard earned points and so Because Market has setup email reminders to let customers know about upcoming point expirations. Unfortunately, as is now the case with many DTC brands, these emails get missed by the majority of the customers as they are moved to the Promotions tab.

The Test: Direct Mail vs. No Direct Mail
Using Paper Run’s Klaviyo and Bubblehouse integrations, the Because Market team was able to easily build an automated flow that sent direct mail to customers whose points were about to expire and who couldn’t be reached through any other channel.
The team at Because Market knows a thing or two about measurement, so they leveraged Paper Run’s incrementality testing tools to measure the precise incremental impact of this direct mail flow.
Getting the Points
The loyalty flow was a huge success. Using holdout testing to measure true incremental lift, Because Market is generating +20.32% more orders and achieving a 4.9× incremental ROAS from customers they otherwise wouldn’t have reached.
