Charlotte Vøhtz founded Green People over 25 years ago as part of her quest to help others embrace a truly organic lifestyle. They've since become a pioneer within the organic skin space building, with their focus on loyalty and customer service leaving them with 50,000+ customer testimonials and over 300 awards.
Loyalty points of difference
Green People have implemented Bubblehouse to build an amazing loyalty program that rewards customer loyalty with points to spend on future purchases… but like AKT, COAT and Heights (and so many other innovative eCommerce brands), Green People were struggling to reach these customers via email.
They turned to Paper Run to help get their loyalty program in front of more customers in an authentic and novel way.
A personal touch
By leveraging Paper Run's Bubblehouse integration - the Green People team set up automated Direct Mail flows. Paper Run helped them target customers who had loyalty points to spend, but hadn't opened any of their emails with recommendations of how to spend them. Green People wanted to reward their most loyal customers but a portion of customers' emails were ending up in Spam or Promotions tabs.
Paper Run and Bubblehouse worked hand-in-hand to send personalised mailers to all those customers. The mail included a statement of loyalty points, encouraging customers to return to Green People and redeem them with a purchase.
Glowing results
Green People’s addition of automated Direct Mail to their loyalty program achieved amazing success. A 7.5X ROAS and 8.8% conversion rate showed that customers were happy to return and purchase using their points, once they knew about their balance.
The personalized mail approach not only generated a huge return on investment but also added a critical touchpoint to their famous loyalty and customer service, for those customers that they couldn't reach via email or SMS.
