All Pod..but no Chill
Filling your tub with ice cubes and water every time you want to plunge is a hassle. That’s why The Pod Company introduced the Chiller, a plug-in solution that cools water to 39°F (3°C) with zero fuss.
Unfortunately, most customers buy the Pod but never go on to purchase the Chiller, meaning they miss out on the full benefits of cold plunging. To address this, The Pod Company began sending post-purchase upsell and reminder emails to new customers. The problem? Most of these emails land in the promotions tab and go unread.
After seeing how Paper Run helped brands like Coat Paints, Create, and Presscription Juices successfully upsell new customers with well-timed, beautifully crafted Direct Mail, they decided to reach out and give it a try.
Playing it Cool
Using our Klaviyo integration, the Paper Run team helped The Pod Company set up hyper targeted and perfectly timed mailers to new Pod customers who hadn’t purchased the Chiller and hadn’t opened their post-purchase emails. But that wasn’t all….
The Pod Company also tapped into Paper Run’s A/B testing functionality to measure the pure incremental impact of introducing Direct Mail with this flow.
